America’s Immigration Ban Is Not Really About Security Measures. It’s About “Invasion” of Islam And It’s Prescription

Muammar Gaddafi, former Libyan leader said:

"There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe—without swords, without guns, without conquest. We don't need terrorists, we don't need homicide bombers. The 50 million Muslims in Europe will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.”

Bernard Shaw, the English liberal writer said:

“I have always had the greatest respect for the religion Muhammad on account of its extraordinary quality of staying lively. In my opinion, Islam is the only religion which has the ability to harmonize and exert its control over differing circumstances and changing ways of life, and to confront the diversities of the centuries.

“Thus I predict, and already the signs can be seen, that tomorrow the faith of Muhammad will become quite accepted in Europe.”

Muslim refugees in Europe have drawn renewed attention to the continent’s Muslim population. In many European countries, including France, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, concerns about growing Muslim communities have led to calls for restrictions on immigration. But just how large is Europe’s Muslim population, and how fast is it growing? 

According to Pew Research Center, the Muslim share of Europe’s total population has been increasing steadily. In recent decades, the Muslim share of the population throughout Europe grew about 1 percentage point a decade, from 4% in 1990 to 6% in 2010. This pattern is expected to continue through 2030, when Muslims are projected to make up 8% of Europe’s population.

The United States does not officially track the number of citizens who are Muslim, but it's likely a few million. A 2010 Pew survey estimated the Muslim American population at 2.6 million and predicted that by 2030 it would rise to 6.2 million, or about 1.7 percent of the population. The Muslim Americans increasingly live in a climate where they face not just hateful and discriminatory rhetoric but also violence and the threat of violence.

The executive order — which bans all immigrants and visa holders from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US for 90 days, bans all refugee admissions for 120 days, bans Syrian refugees indefinitely, and puts Christian refugees at the front of the line — plays right into the ISIS narrative.

No immigrants from any of the seven countries on the list — Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, and Somalia — have killed Americans in terrorist attacks in the US. Not one. What immigrants and refugees from most of those countries are doing, however, is fleeing repression, violence, and war — in the case of Iraq and Yemen, wars started or supported by the US itself.

By blocking refugees from several Muslim countries and prioritizing Christian ones, the Trump administration seems to be sending the message that the US doesn’t care about Muslim suffering. ISIS terrorists group has been trying for years to convince Muslims around the world that the West — and especially the United States — is at war with Islam. President Donald Trump’s new executive order on Muslim immigration will make it much easier for it to make its case.

America's environment of anti-Muslim hatred and fear, a form of bigotry known as Islamophobia, is rampaging out of control. And it has very real and legitimately scary implications for the millions of Americans who follow Islam. America, and the media has infected the minds of people into believing Islam is a religion of terror and nobody is concern about the damage inflicted on Muslims especially the younger generation.

The “Muslim terrorists” may be denounced and condemned for causing havoc in different part of the world but, are they the only wrong doers on earth?  What about the activities of super powers against Islam and Muslim – massacre of innocent Muslim men, women, children as well as babies in the name of collateral damage in war? Islamophobes, anti-Islamists violence attacks against Muslims, or the Israelis offensive against Palestinians, which involve dehumanization, and desensitization of human beings?

Sam Harris, American author, philosopher and torture supporter was so blunt in revealing the hidden motives behind the so-called “War on Terror” when he admits that:

“It is time we admitted that we are not at war with "terrorism". We are at war with Islam. This is not to say that we are at war with all Muslims, but we are absolutely at war with the vision of life that is prescribed to all Muslims in the Koran. The only reason Muslim fundamentalism is a threat to us is because the fundamentals of Islam are a threat to us.”

The Aftermath of “War on Terror” was it Success or Failure?

Researchers suggest the U.S military interventions pursued as part of the West’s anti Al-Qeada war on terror may have made terrorism worse. The crime of invasion of Afghanistan, occupation of Iraq, with thousands of casualties, destructions of properties, use of drone strike on innocent people did not bring a solution. Instead of al-Qaeda now, we have ISIS terrorists, a bigger and more violent problem. 

There seems to be this general belief in the US that, the world power  can invade, bomb, drone, kill, occupy, and tyrannize whomever we want, they see no qualms.  When the world witness of massacre of innocent Muslims, their lives does not matters. On the other hand, the Islamophebes movements disrespecting Islam and humiliating its followers and their justification was based on lies they were feed by media. If you believe all that militarism and aggression are justified, the same ground upon which the Muslims radicals claim to have been acting on the ground of retaliation against oppressors.

Islam is never the world problem, the super powers should stop embracing the polices in Muslim worlds which fuel anti-American hatred and trigger the desire for vengeance and return violence.
